“The Invisible Made Visible” Available Now

Radio seems like a thing of the past, a remnant of the stone age, but what about televised radio?

It’s not a thing of the past but possibly a wave of the future.

This American Life presents “The Invisible Made Visible.”

“The Invisible Made Visible” is a live show curated by host, Ira Glass. It took place in New York earlier this year and streamed across movie theaters in the U.S. as well as Canada and Australia.

There is a lot going in the show, theatre, stand-up comedy and even music.

Some of the highlights of the show include the following…

There are comedic monologues from David Sedaris, Glynn Washington and Ryan Knighton. There is a short film by Mike Birbiglia starring Terry Gross. OK Go even contributes! They perform and also provide the fans in the audience with an app so they can play along.

There is more.

Monica Bill Barnes & Company contributes a live dance. David Rakoff, a longtime contributor to This American Life, tells a story about his fight with cancer that eventually leads into a solo dance.

“This Invisible Made Visible” is available now. For $5 you can stream at, you can also download a DRM-free copy.
