CHICAGO – Local H announced a slew of new December dates today. The Chicago-based band are on the road in support of their new album, Hallelujah! I’m A Bum, which debuted at #3 on Billboard’s New Alternative Albums Chart last month. They wrapped up the first leg of the tour last week and head out for the second leg this Friday, with a show at The Pike Room at The Crofoot in Pontiac, MI. They will play two shows during the CMJ Music Marathon next week — Wednesday, October 17th, 10:30p.m. at Union Square Ballroom in Manhattan at the Slimstyle Records showcase and Thursday, October 18th at The Bell House in Brooklyn. Local H frontman Scott Lucas will open select shows on this tour with a solo acoustic set, including The Bell House show during CMJ. “The shows have been exhausting in the best way: an invigorating kind of exhaustion,” said Lucas. “I don’t know if it’s the crowds, the new record, or what. I can be bone-tired on this tour, and then get on stage and feel like I’m levitating.”
