(June 8, 2012) – Rising British singer-songwriter BENJAMIN FRANCIS LEFTWICH today announces a headlining North American tour scheduled for November and December. The 22-year-old is releasing a deluxe version of his critically acclaimed debut album, Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm, later this year on Vagrant Records.
Leftwich recently completed his first tour in the US with a mix of headline and supporting dates opening for Australian indie-pop band The Jezebels. While he was in San Francisco, Benjamin filmed a live session for In The Open and his performance of “Box of Stones” can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/
Ben is currently in Church Studios in London with producer Ian Grimble recording new songs to be included on the deluxe version of Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm.
“Its great to be back in the studio,” Leftwich commented. “I’ve been on tour for the last year so it’s nice to be making new music again. I’m really proud of the new songs and I’m looking forward to sharing them with people. I’m in a really good creative headspace at the moment and feel like my song writing has developed whilst I’ve been on tour and experienced new people, places and things.”
