Greenwich Village Artist Jon Singer Show Wednesday

Greenwich Village Artist Jon Singer Show WednesdayGreewich Village’s Jon Singer makes his return to the art scene Wednesday with a show at WE CREATE NYC, located on 58 East 11th Street. It’ll run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The show is called The Road to Dystopia featuring Singer and is curated by Lauren Berkley and Roni Jesselson.

Dystopia is defined as a society characterized by human misery, as squalor, oppression, disease, and overcrowding. By that alone you can imagine that this show is going to be intense.

All the festivities are apart of The Lila Project. Its website isn’t up at the moment but Singer’s site is up. You can see he’s been in the game for quite sometime, with shows from 1977 to 2005, where he had an art show in Florence, Italy, Firenze Biennale.

No word on how long the show is going to last so definitely hit up this event Wednesday so you don’t miss out on experience, the vibe and aura Singer’s art work conveys.

For those who don’t know, there is a relation, the man is my father so I know you all are in for quite an experience. His other son, my brother, also is an artist in his own right, check him out at Maxwellsinger.com.
