The iconic Forbidden Planet has moved.

The home of all things comic-related (books, toys, apparel, merchandise and of course graphic novels) is still between 12th and 13th street on Broadway, it’s just four doors down. The exact address is 832 Broadway for those wondering.

I took a stroll through the new location and it’s definitely a lot cleaner, and extremely organized. Comic-lovers will be able to get their fix a whole lot quicker now.

It’s nice to see Forbidden Planet around after all these years and seemingly doing well. They are pretty much the last remnant of anything close to a ‘neighborhood’ that downtown Broadway used to be.

Permits on Forbidden Planet’s old location don’t disclose what it’s going to turn in to. Let’s just hope it’s not another bank.
