First thing first, let me start off by saying Village Lantern is definitely a spot worth visiting. Hot bartenders, cheap booze and great music, well that’s at least until the live music starts.
Ok, now that we’ve got that out of the way, the problem plaguing the bar is that they don’t really have an identity. It’s designed like a sports bar, has live music all the time and even a comedy lounge in the basement of the place. Know what you want and you can have yourself a great time.
The staff is extremely affable and a lot of fun to have a conversation with. They’ll throw back at a shot with or simply just let you vent, it’s always a good time. On top of that they’ve got different drink specials every day. It’s a great spot for the frugal and the fun.
Village Lantern’s bar is fully stocked and even a full menu from chicken tenders to seafood dishes.
If the bar can finally figure out what they want to be, it’ll make for a better experience for everyone.
Have you been to the Village Lantern? What do you think about it?
