The season of giving is almost here, but it’s never too early to start. Why not have some fun while you’re “giving.”
Tonight, there is a concert at the Gramercy Theatre to benefit the children of Haiti via The Love and Serve Haiti Music Project.
The Love and Serve Haiti Music Project is a collaboration between HAUP (Haitian Americans United for Progress), Pou Soley Leve, Kaya Luxury Events, Art in Motion, Dani Evans, Black Book Management, Free Integrated Media and Avery James Designs.
HAUP is a not-for-profit community based organization that helps low-income families and individuals to live healthy and productive lives. HAUP was initially founded in 1975 to promote the welfare of Haitian refugees and immigrants. Since its founding in 1975, it has broadened its cope and reach to meet the needs of all its constituents regardless of nationality, ethnic origin or background.
Winner of “America’s Next Top Model, Season 6, Dani Evans and Ford Model/Founder of Art in Motion, Monica Watkins, will be hosting the event.
DJ-GetLive, Ro James, Bridget Kelly and Wynter Gordon will be performing from 9 p.m. to midnight. The 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. slot will be the private cocktail reception. It’ll feature Reco Denim and Avery James Designs.
