The bad ass rockers out of Boston that hit it big thanks to their song on the soundtrack of “The Departed,” the Dropkick Murphys, are coming out with their eighth album on January 7th titled, Signed and Sealed in Blood.
Ken Casey, the co-lead singer of the band, commented on the upcoming record, “Where Going Out in Style was a concept album—kind of intricate and difficult—this one is catchy, fun, and is gonna damage a lot of speakers.” (Sounds awesome to me!)
They’ll be out on tour beginning October 29th in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They’ll also hit the West Coast and the Mountain States as well as two shows in Canada.
The North America tour will be followed with a few dates to the UK.
Signed and Sealed in Blood will be released off of Born and Bred Records via Cooperative Music. It’s their first record since last year’s Going Out in Style.
