Top Five Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Movies

Top Five Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson MoviesWell this list is certainly going to change fairly soon with the G.I. Joe: Retalliation movie and another Fast and the Furious movie but now is a good of time as any to rundown (no pun intended) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s top five movies.

Fast Five: This is an easy pick; it’s the first flick that solidified him as a major action star to be dealt with. He played Luke Hobbs, a federal agent assigned to take down Vin Diesel and the boys. The Rock and Diesel have an amazing fight scene that’s not to be missed.

The Rundown: His first picture after The Scorpion King, he displayed some comedic chops in this film to combine with great action sequences, showing a lot of potential at that point. It’s actually watchable believe it or not thanks a cast of Seann William Scott, Christoper Walken and Rosario Dawson.

Faster: I’m sure only wrestling fans enjoyed this movie. Johnson is simply known as ‘Driver.’ He delivers a lot of great one-liners and top-notch fight scenes. He’s out to avenge his brother’s death in the movie and you don’t want to get in his way.

Be Cool: The Rock plays Elliot Wilhelm in this terrible movie. Yeah, it’s pretty bad but if you’re a Rock fan than you might want to consider checking this out for his role. He’s pretty funny in his scenes. You may want to fast forward between them however.

The Other Guys: Yeah, this is a stretch, since The Rock was in it for about five minutes, but I would take those five minutes over the entire Walking Tall movie. Johnson was funny as fuck in The Other Guys. It’s a pretty funny movie too until it gets all serious at the end.

Like I said before I’m sure G.I. Joe will knock Be Cool out of the box and the next Fast and the Furious movie will replace Faster or The Other Guys, but these five movies should help you get your Rock fix until then if you smell what I’m cooking!
