There is an interesting campaign going on in the kickstarter world.
An indie film, “She’s Lost Control,” is looking to get a backing of $50,000 to go into production.
The film is about a sexual therapist who lets men know how to be intimate but conflicts arise and she falls for one of her clients.
As of this writing, it currently has 133 backers and a pledge of nearly $13,000. It only has 13 days to go too.
It’s a good time for anyone who wanted to be apart of a film to achieve the cinematic dream. For just $10 (16 people have done this donation) you’ll get pictures emailed to you straight from the set in New York City. You’ll also get a special thank you on the film’s official website.
Don’t want to donate? Well, chances are they may be ok. As you can tell by the intro to the film above, they’ve got a famous friend in the form The Strokes’ frontman, Julian Casablancas.
The singer has given his word to contribute to the music side of the film if it ends up in production.
With shades on, he says, “I’m Julian, I’m one of Simon’s friends. Whatever he needs, I’ll do.”
