Sometimes in the darkest days, you’ve just got to ‘keep the lights on’ and that’s what this film is all about, holding on to that glimmer of hope to keep going.
Keep the Lights On, out September 7th in New York and Los Angeles with a national rollout to follow, isn’t your average film. It’s better than average.

Directed by Ira Sachs and written by him also alongside Mauricio Zacharias, you’re going to see a love story between two guys, Erik and Paul, based in New York, it’s a story that evolved from a simple casual encounter. The story unfolds and rolls around drugs, sex and friendship; on top of that, Paul has a girlfriend.
Thure Lindhardt, Zachary Booth, Julianne Nicholson, Souleymane Sy Syvane, Paprika Steen also star in this film.
It’s an official selection at the 2012 TriBeCa Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festival. It’s a Winner at the 2012 Outfest for U.S. Dramatic Feature Film.
Keep the Lights On is released off Music Box Films with a run-time of 101 minutes.
