In Extraterrestrial they deal with the out-of-ordinary and this film is definitely that. It’s a sci-fi comedy for one thing.
As you can see in Extraterrestrial movie trailer above, we’ve got Julio. He wakes up after a night of partying and realizes he hooked up with a pretty woman. If that wasn’t enough for an interesting conversation, they get interrupted by the woman’s (Julia) ex-boyfriend. To ADD to that, the city this love-triangle resides in is now deserted with a humungous alien space ship flying over it.
It should make for interesting adventure, right?
The 2011 Toronto International Film Festival entrant hits theaters in select theaters on June 15th. It’s going to be available in NYC, Seattle, Austin. It’s going to open in Los Angeles on June 22nd.
The New York viewing will be available in Brooklyn’s reRun’s Gastropub Theater.
Mad it’s not playing at your city? Don’t worry, it’s going to be available on demand through Tugg.
Tugg is an interesting service that I’ve never knew about. It’s a web-platform that lets people choose what movies play in their local theaters. No certain number of people was disclosed but once enough commit to watching the film, Tugg will do the rest.
It’s directed by Nacho Vigalondo.
