That’s what the TV world will be saying that to a TV show based on Clarice Starling, yes, that Clarice from the famous Silence of the Lambs movie.
According to the New York Daily News report that broke Tuesday, it’s going to air on NBC next season. The series will be based on the books penned by Thomas Harris.
There is no word on whether the show will begin before or after Starling meets Hannibal Lecter. The gist of the series, which is titled Clarice, will cover the beginning of Starling’s career when she gets her FBI qualifications.
To coincide with that, there is also going to be Hannibal, that’s going to air next season on NBC too. It’s going to cover the relationship between Hannibal Lecter and FBI agent, Will Graham.
These shows have the potential to be good, but potential doesn’t go very far. I think we’ll be able to make more of an estimate when we find out who is playing the lead characters in each series. As of this reporting, no announcements have been made on the actors playing the parts.
Do you think the shows are going to be any good?
