If you’re looking for some pure theatre in New York City, my friend Jenna Ciralli is at your service.
She’ll be performing at the off-Broadway theatre, The Flea, from July 5th to July 15th.
It’s called “Israel Horovitz One-Acts: It’s Called the Sugar Plum/Beirut Rocks.”
Ciralli will be in the “Sugar Plum” part.
It should be noted that they’ve got Mia Walker involved as the director, she’s currently the Assistant Director of Broadway’s “The Gershwins Porgy and Bess.”
They do have an indiegogo campaign going on at the moment and are looking to reach a goal of $9,000.
Now is a good time to get your wallets out if you sympathize with your fellow artists, want to keep off-Broadway theatre alive, or simply want to do something good for someone else.
I’ve paid money to see my friend Ciralli perform with The Relevance Group and it’s worth every penny.
Her ability and range to convey many emotions is indescribable at times. She’ll make you laugh at the darkest of times, she’ll make you cry at the lightest of times.
But I digress, be apart of art and contribute to this cause if you can. I know this economy is a bitch but don’t let art die.
