According to IMDB, On the Road, will finish wrapping this month. Though their is no movie trailer available yet or a release date (will be out in 2011), the film is loaded with a star-studded cast that should no doubt entertain the masses if it’s anything like the book written by the legendary, Jack Kerouac.
The film, directed by Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries), converted for the screen by Jose Rivera, stars Kristen Stewart (Marylou), Sam Riley (Sal Paradise), and Garrett Hedlund (Dean Moriarty). Other mega stars to appear in the film are Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen, Steve Buscemi, Terrence Howard.
The book had its fair share of critics so the movie will inevitably have the same, but if the movie can do the book justice and stick to the script, it should fair well.
Stewart should only add to a list of reputable movies such as The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys that have helped her stray from getting type-casted with the ‘Bella’ image.
I know I’m itching to see the On the Road movie trailer, are you?
