‘It’s Always Sunny’ in the Movies

It's Always Sunny in PhiladelphiaAnother season of the hilarious show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is close to wrapping up but that doesn’t mean you have to stop seeing the faces of ‘It’s Always Sunny.’

Glenn Howerton: Mr. Dennis himself hasn’t had any big roles in movies but has had some hilarious small roles in Crank, Crank: High Voltage and The Strangers. In both Crank movies he played a doctor. The doctor was high strung because he was held at gun-point by Jason Statham. Howerton’s bit in The Strangers was the best part of the movie and he was only in it for a couple of minutes. In The Strangers, Howerton actually looks like he was channeling Dennis and just got done doing a night of drinking.

Charlie Day: The bar janitor has stepped his game up on the silver screen. Day was just in a movie with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long called Going The Distance. He’s got a film with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman called Horrible Bosses in post-production slated to be released next year.

Kaitlin Olson: The girl we all love to ignore, Sweet Dee, has been in more TV than movies. She was on The Drew Carey Show and even had some screen time on Coyote Ugly. The biggest movie she has been apart of was 2010′s Leap Year, playing ‘Libby.’

Danny DeVito: DeVito is a double-threat. He’s been in big TV shows and huge movies. He delivered a hilarious role as ‘Martini’ in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Frank Reynolds was also entertaining in the TV show, Taxi from 1978 to 1983. Who could forget DeVito as the Penguin in the 1992 Batman Returns film?

Rob McElhenney: The ‘control freak’ hasn’t dived in the movie world that much. The last feature he was apart of was The Tollbooth in 2004 as Simon Stanton. But I do think a movie about The Dick Towel would bring in quite a crowd.
